    • Dr. Claw,
Thank you so much for sharing these awesome Bruton albums. I wanted to ask,

I have been looking for a particular “Holy Grail” Library/Easy Listening/Beautiful Music album (for a very long time) that was most likely produced in the Late 70’s-Early 80’s. The songs were all instrumental, and some of them (i.e. Shadow of Your Smile and What are you Doing the Rest of Your Life) had Harmonica Solos in the style of Toots Thielemans. There were flute solos as well (The Shadow of Your Smile) The LP had to have been produced in part in 1980-1982 because the song “Just Once”, from Quincy Jones’ Album The Dude (1981) is on the album, and some of the songs sounded like some of the tunes that Toots Thielemans recorded with Quincy Jones (i.e. “Velas” from “The Dude” (1981), and “Eyes of Love” & “Love Theme from The Getaway” from QJ’s album “You’ve Got it Bad Girl” from 1973. (Toots Thielemans did record a version of Shadow of Your Smile with Rogier Van Otterloo in 1980, but it is not the same as the one from this LP I’m looking for).
Some of the songs had strings as well, but several also had electronic keyboard, so I’m guessing the album has some early 80’s influences.. The songs on the album were:

      Yesterday(Beatles)
      Here Comes the Sun (Beatles)
      Here, There and Everywhere (Beatles)
What a Fool Believes (Doobie Bros)
What are you Doing the Rest of Your Life (Legrand)
The Shadow of Your Smile (Mandel)
      Midnight at the Oasis
      Wave (Sergio Mendes)
      Just Once (Quincy Jones)
      You’ve Got It Bad Girl
      This Masquerade(maybe)

If you by any chance have or know of an album like this with these songs or of any particular artist/label that may have played in the style I’ve described please let me know. I have checked out many sources, (i.e. Syd Dale’s music from Amphonic and KPM, and I’ve discovered that Syd Dale recorded his own compostitions, as well as popular songs from the 70s with his orchestra). I’ve even added Easy Listening LPs as an ebay search and I must say I’ve found out about some artists that I never even knew existed! Again, thank you all for what you’ve shared so far!:)
      All my best,
      Eric
